Seven schools in the Rulindo District were given computers and other technology equipment, in order to improve the way students learn and are taught.

The school administration said that these devices will help teachers to use new teaching methods, using video and audio to make students understand better.

“This equipment will help us a lot, especially in the technology lessons that we have not been able to teach properly due to lack of equipment,” said the head teacher of one school.

The students said they were happy to have computers in their school, and they said they had wanted to learn how to use them for a long time.

The district administration said that the program will continue in other schools in the next two years, with the aim that all schools in the district will have technology equipment.
